"The Hamas attack on October 7th, in which acts of slaughter and sexual violence were carried out, is a horrifying crime. However, it does not justify revenge targeting the entire Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip, with explicit incitement by the highest levels of Israeli leadership towards mass killings and targeting. Such a policy has not brought and will not bring security; rather, it will only escalate hatred and violence between the sides."
